Chilly Times in San Remo, Italy...

San Remo, Italy is about an hour train ride from Cannes, France. We made the trip to San Remo on October 20th. Dave spent most of the week in San Remo playing A TON of poker. While he playing, I walked around the city a bit (when it wasn't gloomy, rainy, or chilly!)

Welcome to San Remo!

What is left of a defense tower that was built in the 1500's.

Some of the streets were simply stairs that winded through buildings. It's just sad that there is so much grafiti.

View of the beach. However, it was too chilly here to be laying out or swimming!

Colorful little houses/apartments.

Fort Santa Tecla. It was built in 1755, not for defensive purposes, but rather to keep the people of San Remo under control!

The San Remo Russian Church. Extremely ornate!!

Casino San Remo! It was very nice inside. Sadly, I lost ten euros attempting to play video poker....yeah I'm a degen.

Such blue water on the Italian coast. This is the Ligurain Sea.
